Comes from an elite tennis family – sister Hsieh Su-wei is a former WTA World No. 1 in doubles and nine-time Grand Slam doubles champion. Chen-an watched Su-wei win one of her titles at Wimbledon in 2019. Another sister, Yu-chieh, is a top women’s singles pickleball player in Asia and also has a tennis background.
