Calabasas Pickleball Club (CPC) is set to be the Official Training Grounds for Season 2 of the UPA Asia Trailblazers Program. Located in Calabasas, California, CPC will host eight athletes from across Asia starting in March for a six-week immersion at the epicenter of professional pickleball.

As one of Southern California’s premier pickleball destinations, CPC features 16 outdoor lighted courts and is home to some of the sport’s biggest names. The club’s elite training environment — led by Top 10 PPA player and Director of Pickleball Gabe Joseph — will help support Asia’s next generation of professional pickleball players, as the program takes today’s talent and turns them into tomorrow’s stars. Athletes will train under the guidance of Collin Johns, former PPA Tour No.1 doubles player and Racket Professional Organization Technical Director, and with the support of Chris Harradine.

This collaboration underscores CPC’s commitment to growing the game at the highest level. The club has become a hub for elite competition and development, with PPA Tour Champion Roscoe Bellamy among the world-class players who call CPC home. Its reputation as a training ground for professional talent makes it the ideal base for the Trailblazers.

During their residency in California, participants will receive personal mentorship from US professional players, expert coaches, and media training to develop both their pickleball skills and personal brands. With its world-class facilities and deep ties to the professional game, CPC offers everything the Trailblazers need to hit the ground running.

Program participants are set to touch down in the USA to begin their six-week journey, which includes training at world-class facilities under the guidance of esteemed coaches and the opportunity to compete on the Carvana PPA Tour alongside the sport’s best. Following their time in the USA, athletes will return to the PPA Tour Asia circuit backed by two-year UPA Asia Pro Contracts.
