Luzz Pickleball Joins Trailblazers Program as Official Paddle Partner 

The UPA Asia Trailblazers Program is excited to bring Luzz Pickleball on board as an official Paddle Partner for Season 2, adding another key piece to the development of Asia’s rising pickleball talent. 

Through this partnership, Luzz will provide paddles and support UPA Asia in its bid to develop talent across the region. 

“This marks a significant milestone for Luzz in Asia. We’re proud to support the growth of pickleball, empower the next generation of athletes, and contribute to the sport’s development across the region,” said Diken Chan, Luzz Pickleball Asia CEO. 

Founded in 2019, Luzz Pickleball takes its name from the Spanish word ‘Luz’ meaning light and brightness. The brand has built global recognition as a high-performance paddle manufacturer across more than 20 territories.  

Luzz has also been at the forefront of growing the sport in the region, endeavoring to develop pickleball throughout Asia. In China, the brand has been instrumental in the sport’s rapid expansion, connecting pickleball communities across over 200 clubs and courts. Luzz is set to bring that same commitment to growth and development to the Trailblazers Program. 

Shortlisted candidates for the UPA Asia Trailblazers Program will join the Pre-selection Training Camp in December at Infinity Academy in Ho Chi Minh City, working with head coach Collin Johns. The Class of 2026 will be announced in March, with top Trailblazers securing a 2-year UPA Asia Pro Contract and the opportunity to compete on the Carvana PPA Tour as part of an all-expenses-paid, six-week immersion in the USA.
