Shortlist Revealed for Trailblazers Season 2 as Training Camp Kicks Off in Vietnam

The UPA Asia Trailblazers Program has revealed its Season 2 shortlist, with 30 athletes set to compete for spots in Asia’s premier pickleball development initiative.

The shortlist features 15 male and 15 female athletes representing 10 territories across Asia, all of whom will participate in the training camp that has officially kicked off in Vietnam.

These 30 athletes were selected from a competitive pool of applicants, demonstrating the growing depth of pickleball talent across the continent. The Vietnam training camp will provide an intensive environment to hone their skills and develop the next generation of Asian pickleball stars.

The camp will be held at Infinity Sports and Leisure in Ho Chi Minh City, where athletes will train under the guidance of Head Coach Collin Johns, former PPA Tour No.1 doubles player and Racket Professional Organization (RPO) Center of Excellence Technical Director. Johns will be supported by Chris Harradine, Josh Jenkins, and a roster of experienced coaches from across Asia.
